How does it make any sense at all saying Wu Tang Clan niggas want that cash rules everything around me? It might be me just not liking this guy, but that was a very, very, very, very poorly written line. In the terms of the Wu Tang Clan, C.R.E.A.M. It still would have sucked, but it would make sense. Okay if he just said want that cream I would have been fine. Okay in Rap/Hip Hop, cream is a common term for rich wealthy items or money. One lyrics section I had a big problem with was this "Wu Tang Clan, niggas want that cream". Nothing special, nothing good, more terrible lyric delivery and just a boring and terrible song. "Show Me a Good Time": Everything I said before is present here.
She is only used for a chorus, and not even a good or memorable chorus at that. Alicia Keys in this song however, is treated like such a nobody. Drake's energy, lyrics, etc, everything I already said about him for this song isn't anything special. "Fireworks": Please tell me Alicia Keys is not this desperate for attention? She is so much more talented than Drake is. Anyone who's previous life was an actor on a very popular teen show called Degrassi,is not hard and is not tough. In some of his songs he tries to act tough, he tries to act hard, acting like it's cool throwing around the n word.
DRAKE THANK ME LATER TRACKLIST TV
Now he wants to pretend like he wasn't on a very popular TV show? Besides lyric quality, his image is just very fake. If it was by his real name or Jimmy the wheelchair kid, people know who he is. He didn't get popular in little time, people knew who he was. I have a load of problems with this guy, such as pretending to be something he is not. His lyrics are among the lines of money, how famous he is, and how he got "popular" in so little time. Lyrics wise, he doesn't bring anything new and different that isn't already overplayed on radio. Be it in the underground or be it in the past, you could copy someone better. It's really sad when Lil Wayne is the one you are copying, I mean if you're going to rip someone off, there are countless others that are better. The whole annoying auto-tune trend needs to die as well. I thought it was Lil Wayne.Ĭall me ignorant for this, but why would I ever think he was Lil Wayne? Is it maybe because he sounds like a carbon copy of Lil Wayne? His whole style, everything, it sounds like Lil Wayne.
When I first heard a Drake song, I wasn't impressed. He has the flow of someone dying of death by slow brain cancer. My main problem with Drake is he has zero energy, he has the atmosphere of a funeral. I must say Drake does not deserve any of the hype he has gotten. To be fair and honest, both are not really any good.
DRAKE THANK ME LATER TRACKLIST MOVIE
Thank Me Later has bigger names on it than the movie Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans had big actors. It sounds the same and everyone likes to feature each other. A Drake song can be described as any other song on the hit radio. Today I'm going to be reviewing an album I really hated by a musician I really hate known as Drake. Review Summary: Thank him now? Thank him later? I'm not doing either.
